Governments in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Oman have introduced schemes for workers to leave the country without penalty. Around 20,000 migrants have signed theirs and asked to return to their country without any penalty.

The Ministry of Labor told on Sunday that all the migrant workers who have signed and asked to leave the country and return to their homeland have all their fines waived and they will not face any kind of trouble at the airport and will return to their Can return to the country.

The entire case is mainly comprised of workers working without work permits, fine labor due to lack of other types of documents, and migrants with overstay penalties.

Nearly 20,000 expatriates have registered for a waiver to leave Oman without paying fines, after the government announced an exemption to overstay penalties, the Ministry of Labour said on Sunday.

The registration for the waiver scheme runs from November 15 until December 31, 2020
