Rohini businessman got a call of Rs 5 crore extortion on 6 and 7 July. A case was registered at Rohini North Police Station. When the police investigated, the notorious gangster Jitendra Mann aka Gogi was demanding this extortion from Tihar Jail. When raided in Tihar, the mobile phone was recovered from there. Gogi and his accomplice Dinesh Karala have been arrested. Police are questioning him on remand for the entire case.

Businessmen stuck here in lockdown
Originally Haryana businessmen shifted to Dubai six years ago. In the complaint given to the Rohini police, he said that he had come to India in connection with the business in the month of March. He got stuck here due to the lockdown. They got calls from international numbers from 6 and 7 July and the caller started asking for extortion of five crore rupees. The businessman and his family were threatened with death for not paying the money. The businessman immediately informed the police about the case.

Crooks were making calls through VOIP
Rohini (North) Police Station registered a case. When the police investigated, it was found that calls were being made from Tihar Jail. The police raided Tihar Jail and recovered several mobile phones including phones used for extortion. The accused were demanding extortion by making VoIP calls through the app. Police will interrogate them to find out how mobile phones came to them in jail. Till now, they have called many people for extortion and have not recovered the money from anyone.
