Abu Dhabi’s grand Hindu temple opened for devotees from March 1, know the time to visit

The first Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates will be opened for the public from March 1. Let us tell you that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated this grand temple in the beginning of February 2024.

Built at a cost of approximately Rs 700 crore, this temple has been constructed by Bochasan resident Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). Let us tell you that this temple of Abu Dhabi is spread over 27 acres of land.

Devotees will have darshan from March 1.

A spokesperson of the temple says that devotees can have darshan of the temple from March 1. The temple will remain closed for tourists every Monday. The sacred water of Ganga-Yamuna from India, sandstone from Rajasthan and wooden furniture have been used for this first Hindu temple of UAE, built with about 18 lakh bricks. Please note that the temple will remain open from 9 am to 8 pm.

The UAE government gave land for the temple.

According to the temple officials, the temple has been constructed according to the ancient construction style. The UAE government had donated land for its construction. Swami Brahmaviharidas, head of international relations of BAPS, said, ‘There are idols of deities on the 7 peaks of the temple. These include idols of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Lord Jagannath, Lord Swaminarayan, Tirupati Balaji and Lord Ayyappa.

It was inaugurated on 14 February.

Let us tell you that this grand temple located in Abu Dhabi was inaugurated by PM Modi during a dedication ceremony on 14 February 2024. More than 5 thousand people participated in this function. In this, foreign devotees or VIP guests who had registered in advance from 15-29 February were given permission to visit the temple.
