Qatar state refused to preside over the 154th regular session of the Arab League at the ministerial level, with the Palestinian minister recently resigning from the post. Let us tell you that Palestine has taken this step by calling the Arab League as Pakspa.
Qatar announced in a statement on Thursday evening: “We apologize for the completion of the above session, which the State of Palestine gave up, while following the authority of the State of Qatar for the 155th session of March 2021 The next presidential term is right. ”
Qatar was chosen alphabetically and according to Article VI of the League Council’s Rules of Procedure, “If unable to assume the office of the President of the Council at the Ministerial level, a temporary presidential representative is assigned. ”
The state of Palestine decided to relinquish its right to preside over the Council of the Arab League for the current session, in response to a wave of generalization with the capture of this ‘Israeli’ last Tuesday.
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki confirmed that the decision came after the League Secretary-General supported the normalization of Imrati and Bahrain with this ‘Israeli’, in a clear violation of the Arab peace initiative.
