Abu Dhabi: Air India Express will start a new service from Ras Al Khaimah to Kannur from May 1. New service to Lucknow is starting from May 2.
Meanwhile, the service from Abu Dhabi to Kannur, Kochi and Mumbai sector has been increased. Initially, there will be three weekly flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Kannur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flight departs from Kannur at 6.15 pm and will land at Ras Al Khaimah at 8.45 pm UAE time. The return flight will depart from Ras Al Khaimah at 9.45 pm and land at Kannur at 3.10 am.
Ras Al Khaimah to Lucknow will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from May 2. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, it will depart at 11.55 am and reach Lucknow at 5.15 pm.

There is a daily service from 24 to Kochi, which used to have six weekly services from Abu Dhabi. The new service on Sundays will depart at 11.55 pm and land at Nedumbassery at 5.35 am. There will be a daily service from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai from 15th of this month. The flight departs at 10.50 pm and reaches Mumbai at 3.10 am.
Four additional services from Abu Dhabi to Kannur will start from May. On Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight departs from Abu Dhabi at 9.55 pm and reaches Kannur at 3.20 am. Earlier the service was 6 days a week. From May it will be a daily service with two services on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
As per the revised schedule, Air India Express’ Abu Dhabi – India sector services will increase from 31 to 43 weekly services. With the implementation of the new services, Air India Express will be able to carry 2222 more passengers per week from Abu Dhabi to India.
