Riyadh: The Civil Aviation Authority has approved China Southern Airlines to operate regular flights between China and Saudi Arabia. From April 16, there will be flights from Riyadh to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Apart from passenger flights, there will also be cargo flights.

The service will be operated by four passenger aircraft and three air cargo aircraft. This step is within the framework of the General Civil Aviation Authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance air connectivity and develop the air transport network. This is to achieve the ‘Vision 2030’ goals of making Saudi a global logistics platform and opening up new horizons for travel.
