ABU DHABI: You can win lakhs by baiting, not just a word, but only one condition. The biggest neem should be caught with bait. The incident took place in the UAE. There is a chance to win a big prize in the competition which is part of the 5th Al Dhafra Grand Kingfish Championship which started in UAE.
The championship runs from April 11 to 13. It started at Abu Dhabi Almugira Beach. The first prize is 1.2 lakh dirhams for those who catch the biggest kingfish in the competition. Second and third place winners will receive Dh80,000 and Dh60,000 respectively. The champion is determined by adding up the points earned by fishing in three stages, namely Al-Sila, Al Mugheera and Al Dhafra Final. Among the mega winners, the male champion will get a Nissan Patrol and the female winner will get a Rabdan car.

There are 20 prizes in total. 10 each in male and female categories. Men must catch fish weighing at least 15 kg and women 8 kg. Fishing should be done with bait. Bait and fishing gear can be used. But other methods such as nets and spears are prohibited. Different nationalities can participate in the competition. The competition aims to control kingfish fishing practices, prevent overfishing and showcase the coastal beauty of Al Dhafra.
