During the symposium, Susan Lindemann, Interim President and CEO of the Saudi-American Business Council, emphasized the Council’s role in facilitating cooperation and enhancing growth opportunities in important sectors such as the automotive industry in the Kingdom.

Lindemann explained that the Council’s mission for more than 30 years has been to connect industry leaders and stakeholders, provide market opportunities and promote valuable networking between companies and investors.

She also stressed that discussions such as these are essential in driving innovation and progress within the automotive industry, noting the Council’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote prosperity and mutual development in this vital sector.

For his part, the main advisor for the automotive sector at the National Center for Industrial Development, Aftab Ahmed, confirmed that this initiative comes in the context of the economic transformation that the Kingdom is witnessing, and will contribute significantly to supporting the development of the automotive industry and achieving the strategic goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and that the automotive sector in the Kingdom It is moving very quickly towards the localization of passenger and passenger vehicles.
