Delete basic apps from Apple devices and expand default options
Under the new changes, Apple users in the EU will be able to delete core apps such as the App Store, Messages, Camera, Photos, and Safari. The only exceptions are the Settings and Phone apps, which will remain undeletable.
Additionally, future updates will allow users to set new default apps for various services such as calling, messaging, navigation, and password management.
Changes are limited within EU countries.
Apple has made it clear that these changes will only be available to users and developers within EU member states.
