Kerala man who worked in Abu Dhabi dies

Alappuzha: A 38-year-old man from Kerala died at TD Medical College Hospital on Friday. As per reports, he has tested positive for Covid-19 infection a couple of days back.

According to the doctors, death of the man caused because of acute upper GI bleed, hepatic encephalopathy, chronic alcoholic liver disease, hypovolemic shock and he was also tested positive of Coronavirus.

The man, with no known medical conditions was working in Abu Dhabi, he reached Kochi on May 29 and was sent to a care centre for quarantine purpose in Alappuzha.

On Friday morning, the man was admitted with multiple episodes of hematemesis at the isolation ward of Medical College Hospital, according to the news.
