Dubai: In January, when Peri Abouzeid moved to Dubai to marry Khaled Mokhtar her long-time friend, she did not realise that her life with her partner would start on this strange note. On March 4, the couple from Egypt got married in Cairo and left for Mexico on March 8. Like other newly-weds, they had also planned to spend quality time with each other on a 10-day honeymoon.
From Egypt to Mexico to Istanbul and finally to Maldives, where the couple is currently stuck on a never-ending honeymoon. Their rising finances, struggle to hold one to their jobs and credit card bills have only added to their worries.
