Woman barred from entering home by son over Covid-19 suspicion

In a shocking news, an old woman aged around 80, was not allowed to enter the house by her own son when she returned from Maharashtra, the state most badly affected by coronavirus pandemic.

The incident happened in Telangana’s Karimnagar town yesterday, when Katta Shyamala’s son didn’t allow her to enter into the house.

Her married son along with her daughter-in-law locked the gate from inside, and didn’t allow the old woman to enter. This forced her to sit on the road with her bag. After several hours of discussion with local representatives and police, her son allowed her in.

The woman got stranded because of the lockdown in Solapur some three months ago when she went there to attend a family function.
