COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 3,943 new coronavirus cases

Forty-eight more fatalities from the novel virus have been also confirmed

Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s total coronavirus infections have jumped to 186,436 after the country detected another 3,943 new cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

Forty-eight more fatalities from the novel virus have been also confirmed, taking the country’s death toll to 1,599.

The ministry also announced the full recovery of 2,363 new cases after receiving the necessary treatment, taking that number up to 127,118 of total recovered patients.

In recent days there has been a slight rise in the infection growth curve, prompting the ministry asking the people to be more careful.

 

 





Hofuf has topped Monday’s list of cities with the highest number of daily cases recorded with 433, followed by Riyadh with 363 and Dammam with 357. There were 263 new infections in Mecca, 219 in Al Qattif, 212 in Jeddah, and 208 in Taif. The other new infections were recorded in different cities and provinces across Saudi Arabia.
