Dubai: 12 lakh iftar kits per day in Dubai city during Ramadan. An official of Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department said that 1,200 permits have been issued for iftar distribution. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, director general of the department, said that permission would help to provide 12 lakh iftar kits daily.

The department also announced a number of programs to benefit citizens and expatriates during Ramadan. The programs will be organized in four categories namely Islamic, Cultural, Community and Philanthropic. Second Vice-Chancellor of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council Ya Shaikh Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum declared ‘ The events are part of the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign.

Communi has different programs targeting different demographics. Included in Section T. ‘Hala Ramadan’, ‘We Break Our Fast Together’, Dupaba Pulse, At One table can be used in different situations. From different religions and sects in the name of Dubai Iftar. There is also a ritual that brings the old people together. Apart from this, various philanthropic activities have also been planned.
