Many doctors feel it is now all the more important to be extra cautious, practice social distancing and good self-hygiene.
Doctors in Dubai are urging citizens to be more cautious as the city begins to be back to business.
Dr Geoffrey Zachariah, GP at Prime Medical Centre, said: “The latest slogan of the government during this re-opening phase of the COVID-19 crisis is that everyone should be responsible. Which means that each and every person needs to maintain strict precautionary and safety measure.”
Six things to remember when stepping out
- Make sure to cover your face with mask
- As soon as the mask is damp, replace it with a new one (or use a mask for a maximum of 6 hours)
- Always keep and use alcohol-based sanitisers regularly
- When you cough or sneeze, ensure your mouth and nose are covered
- Even if you’re wearing gloves, refrain from unnecessary touching of surfaces
- Wash your hands frequently or sanitise your hands after removing your gloves
