The Dubai Government Human Resources Department confirmed in an official statement that Wednesday, January 1, 2025, will be an official holiday for all Dubai government departments. The department indicated that official work will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

The Department explained that the bodies, departments and institutions whose employees work on a shift system or whose services are related to meeting the needs of the public and managing public facilities, will determine their working hours in accordance with their operational requirements.
