Dubai launches commercial licenses to work from home

Work from home packages in Dubai have been developed to keep pace with the growing global trend of using flexible work systems

Release Dubai World Trade Centre Today’s packages Commercial licenses to work from home, in “Expo Village,” the center’s residential complex in Expo City Dubai, with the aim of shaping the future of work, and in a way that reflects the growing position of Dubai as one of the best cities in the world for work and living.

The new packages are designed to meet the needs of the growing entrepreneurial community in Dubai, serving new business owners, startups, entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized companies, as the packages allow them to:

  • Obtaining a commercial license from the Dubai World Trade Center Free Zone,
  • Obtaining employee visas, based on a residential lease and without having to pay the costs associated with renting a dedicated office.

Work-from-home packages were developed to keep pace with the growing global trend of using flexible work systems, as they meet the needs of entrepreneurs looking for a more diversified approach to establishing businesses and establishing new companies.

Expo Village residents can commute daily to nearby business districts, such as Dubai Investment Park, Jafza, Dubai Multi Commodities Center, and Dubai Internet City, without using cars, thanks to the strong public and private transportation infrastructure, which includes the Dubai Metro and Al Maktoum International Airport.

There are currently 4 packages for the Expo Village, all of which include membership in the shared business center “WorkHub Expo Village”.

Abdullah Al-Banna, Vice President of Regulatory Operations for the Free Zone at the Dubai World Trade Center Authority, explained that the work-from-home packages through the Dubai World Trade Center provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized companies residing in the Expo Village, who wish to enter the local market through the system.
