Dubai: Malls in Dubai will re-open from tomorrow and operating hours will be back to 10am-10pm. But the social distancing restrictions to continue to be in place for F&B operators.
As Dubai and the UAE gets back into business mode, multiple mall owners have sent updates to their tenants regarding the change in timings.
Well prepared
Retailers were pretty sure that mall timings would be back to normal by end of Ramadan. “In fact, most of us were already prepared for going back to the usual opening timings from the first day of Eid itself,” said one retailer. “Though, the schedule was altered by three days and we are good to go from Wednesday.”
Mall sources say they will need to deal with visitors coming up for the cinemas and the gyms for the first time in weeks.
One head of operations at a mall said, “All health and safety measures including the restricting of those under 12 and over 60 years will remain in place.”
