Dubai: Now the need of PCR test for Dubai’s private school students to return to class is over, officials gave this information

Now private school students in Bai will no longer need to undergo a PCR test to return to class on the first day of the term.

Now the latest guidelines from the Knowledge and Development Authority, which oversees private education in the emirate, state that there is no need for testing.

This time an email sent by the KHDA to parents on Friday confirmed that existing health and safety policies in schools remain unchanged.

Any updates received will be immediately informed to the parents through email.

Physical distancing will be maintained and people who have COVID-19 will have to isolate for 10 days. Face masks will be mandatory indoors but not required outside.

Students and staff who are in close contact with a person infected with the coronavirus but have no symptoms, do not need to be isolated and can attend school. so says the government

Abu Dhabi private school pupils aged 12 and above and staff will be required to take a PCR test before returning for the new academic year.

The emirate’s Department of Education and Knowledge said a negative PCR test obtained no more than 96 hours before the first day of term on Monday must be presented.
