Dubai records a rise in inflation to 3.91%, led by housing

Residential prices in Dubai, which represent the largest weight in the inflation index, rose by 6.5% in April compared to a rise of 6.3% last March.

Has risen Inflation The annual rate in Dubai reached 3.91% last April compared to 3.34% in March, recording its highest level since October 2023 when it exceeded 4%, according to a report issued by Dubai Statistics Centre.

On a monthly basis, inflation in Dubai rose by 0.76% in April compared to 0.24% in March.

Housing category prices, which represent the greatest weight in the inflation index, rose by 6.5% in April compared to a rise of 6.3% last March.

In addition, transport prices rose by 3.3% in April compared to a contraction of 1.9% in the previous month.

Restaurant and hotel category prices also increased by 2.2% in April compared to an increase of 1.2% in March.
