Dubai RTA Reveals Operational Hours For Dubai Metro

Recently, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (Dubai RTA) announced business hours for a bunch of services for the Eid holidays. Yes, with the Eid holidays being just days away, this announcement covers a variety of services. And these include customer happiness centres, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, paid parking zones, service provider centres (vehicle testing), and marine transport means. So, if you’re also wondering about all of these services that have revised operational hours during the Eid holiday, we are here to tell you about it.

Dubai RTA Reveals Operational Hours For Service Provider Centres During Eid

The service provider centres will be closed for Eid al-Fitr holidays from 29th Ramadan to 3rd Shawwal. As it happens, the work at these centres will resume on 4th Shawwal, given just vehicle testing service will be provided on 29th Ramadan and 3rd Shawwal.
For Customer Happiness Centres, services will be closed during the holidays, however, Smart Customer Happiness Centres will be operational. Yes, these will be operational 24/7 in Umm Ramool, Al Kifaf centres, Barsha, Deira, and RTA Head Office.

Dubai Metro & Tram Timings Revealed

Coming to the Dubai Metro, timings will be as follows –

  • Saturday April 6th: 5 am to 1 am (next day)
  • Sunday April 7th: 8 am to 1 am (next day)
  • Monday to Saturday, April 8th to 13th: 5 am to 1 am (next day)
  • Sunday April 14th: 8 am to 12 am

Service timings for the Dubai Tram have also been revealed and they are as follows –

  • Monday to Saturday: 6 am to 1 am (next day)
  • Sunday: 9 am to 1 am (next day)

Coming to Dubai Bus, several adjustments will be made to its operational hours. This extends to both Dubai Bus and Intercity Buses, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday. If you are wondering about all of these changes, these can be read about on the S’hail App.

The Dubai RTA also revealed a comprehensive slew of timings for marine transport, Dubai Ferry and Abra. These are for all the stations that it provides its services on.

In fact, public parking will also be free of charge during the Eid holidays. Yes, starting from the 29th of Ramadan till the 3rd of Shawwal, there will be free parking available. This will be valid across all public parking except for the multilevel parking terminal. However, the tariff will resume on the 4th of Shawwal.
