ABU DHABI: UAE has announced short Eid prayer times. The Chandradarshan Committee of the UAE will meet on Monday evening to observe the new moon. If the new moon is seen tomorrow, the next day (Tuesday) will be the festival. If the new moon is not visible, the short festival will be on the 10th. Preparations are complete in mosques and Eid gahs.
Prayer times in Dubai
The representative of Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department informed that the prayer will be at 6.18 am in Dubai.
Prayer times in Sharjah
According to the Hijri calendar published by the Islamic Affairs Department of Sharjah, prayers will be held at 6.17 am in mosques and Eidgahs.
Prayer times in Abu Dhabi
Prayer times in Abu Dhabi are two to four minutes behind those of Dubai. According to the Islamic Hijri calendar published by Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, Namaz will be held at 6.22 am in Abu Dhabi city and at 6.15 am in Al Ain.
Ajman, Umm al-Quwain
Usually the Eid prayer timings in these emirates are the same as in Sharjah – 6.17 am.
Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah
Time in these emirates is two minutes behind Sharjah – 6.15 am.
