The company also allocated 12,000 hotel rooms and 250,000 meal vouchers to customers affected by the floods.
Emirates Airlines and Flydubai returned to operating their flights to and from Dubai International Airport on April 18, after the authorities were able to partially reopen the airport.
The company is working to gradually restart all its flights over the coming days.
Emirates Airlines expressed in a message its understanding of customers’ problems during this period, and asked them for patience and understanding while the company works to resolve all outstanding matters.
