Reach out Council of the European Union and the European Parliament On Tuesday, a preliminary agreement was reached to ban the entry of products made by forced labor into the European single market.
The agreement stipulates the various responsibilities of the European Commission and member states in identifying companies that employ forced labor and banning their products. Belgian Minister of Economy and Labor Pierre-Yves-Dermany said in a statement that the agreement aims to eliminate this model of corporate business models.

He continued, “Through these regulatory rules, we want to ensure that there is no place for their products in our single market, whether they are manufactured in Europe or abroad.” Belgium currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union.
