The agency reported that the search and rescue sector found a dead person in Wadi Al Batha in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, bringing the total number of deaths as a result of the weather condition to 17 deaths.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Education explains that the school that lost the students did not reach the valleys, but rather the guardian was the one who took the students out and took them, and they are students of Al-Hawari School for Basic Education in the North Al-Sharqiyah Governorate.

The news agency stated that, in view of the exceptional weather situation witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman, it was decided to suspend work for employees in units of the civil state’s administrative apparatus and for workers in private sector establishments in the governorates of Musandam, Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah and Al Dakhiliyah tomorrow, Tuesday, and remote work can be applied if it is not possible to start work in person in the rest of the governorates. .
