Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) provides free Wi-Fi at all 43 bus and marine transport stations in the emirate.
The Roads and Transport Authority announced that Dubai Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the provision of free Wi-Fi services, in collaboration with E&, at (21) public bus stations and (22) marine transport stations across the Emirate of Dubai. This initiative aims to improve customer service and enable public transport users to connect to the internet using their smartphones, tablets and laptops while commuting.
This initiative comes within the framework of the Roads and Transport Authority’s ongoing efforts to accelerate the digital transformation of its various services, meeting the needs of all segments of society, in line with the UAE’s vision.
It also confirms the Authority’s commitment to improving daily transportation services by making journeys via buses and marine transport more enjoyable and beneficial, in addition to supporting Dubai’s ambition to become the smartest and happiest city in the world.
The service will be subject to continuous and careful evaluation to expand and develop it in cooperation with E&, ensuring the provision of the highest-quality Wi-Fi service to bus and marine transport passengers in the Emirate of Dubai.
