Abu Dhabi: A group of youngsters were arrested after they gang-raped a girl and circulated video on social media platforms, UAE Attorney-General said.
Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney-General, ordered a quick investigation into the incident after a video was circulated online showing the assault.
The investigation officers identified the suspects and arrest warrants were issued, according to the attorney general’s statement.
Abu Dhabi Police arrested the attackers and they are being questioned under direct supervision from the attorney general.
