Riyadh: Riyadh will host the Gulf Film Festival. The five-day long film festival from April 14 to 18 is being organized by the Saudi Film Commission in collaboration with the GCC General Secretariat.
The fourth edition is being held in Riyadh. This is part of efforts to build bridges of cooperation and exchange of experiences among member states. Amir Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, will preside over the festival ceremonies as part of the Film Commission’s efforts to support the regional and Gulf cinema movement. The festival will honor many luminaries of the film industry who have made valuable contributions to Gulf cinema.

Three training workshops and six educational seminars aimed at creating artistic and cultural interaction to develop and enhance the effective role of film art, deepening the place of cinema and its role in social life, will be held as part of the fair.
