Riyadh: Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has stated that Hajj pilgrims should get ‘NUSK’ card and carry it with them. This year the ministry is providing this to all the pilgrims. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that it is mandatory for the pilgrims to carry the card on every trip and show it when required.

The ministry also suggested that it is an official and recognized identity card to distinguish legitimate pilgrims from others. The digital card contains personal information, identity number or uniform reference number, health information, place of residence in Makkah and Madinah, names of companies serving the holy places, means of communication with them and information about the group leader.

It helps to provide efficient and speedy service to the pilgrims. The card is mandatory for exiting, entering and traveling at the holy places throughout the performance of Hajj. It helps the pilgrim to reach his destination easily and conveniently in case he gets lost and to get the necessary medical care.

It also contains the certificate of completion of Hajj. The ministry has also prepared an electronic copy of the card in the Tawakalna and Nusk applications. Through this, the pilgrims can easily show the digital version before the security personnel during the inspection in case of loss of the card. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that after issuing visas to international pilgrims, cards will be obtained from Hajj offices and Hajj permits for domestic pilgrims from service providers.
