Kuwait City: A short Eid holiday has been announced in Kuwait. There will be five days of holiday in the country. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Monday.Â
The holiday is from April 9 to 14. The working day will resume from Sunday, April 14. Five days leave will be given on Friday and Saturday as public holidays. Government ministries, agencies and public institutions will not function on these days. But institutions for emergency purposes will function.Â

At the same time, a short holiday of four days has been announced for private institutions in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has issued an order in this regard.
The ministry has stated that there will be a four-day holiday for private sector organizations from April 9. The ministry has asked employers to comply with the rules specified in Article 24, second paragraph of the executive regulations of the country’s labor law.
