Distribution of tenders to government agencies
The tenders announced by the Central Agency for Public Tenders were distributed among several government agencies, as one tender was allocated to each of the General Administration of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Finance, the Kuwait Oil Company, and the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company.
Three tenders were also issued for Kuwait University, indicating the diversity of projects needed by various sectors.
Government tender awarded to “Heavy Engineering Industries”
In another context, the agency announced the award of a government tender to the Kuwait Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (SAFEN) in early December 2024. The value of the tender is 33.569 million Kuwaiti dinars (109.27 million US dollars), and it is related to the “Modernization and Development of the Gas and Condensate Network in the East Kuwait Region” project.
This project is one of the strategic projects that aim to enhance the energy infrastructure in the region.
Last July, Seven Company announced the award of another government tender worth 173.180 million Kuwaiti dinars (565.17 million US dollars). The tender is related to the project to develop and modernize steam boilers and control systems for thermal units at the Doha West Power and Water Distillation Plant.
