Apple is preparing to launch the smallest Mac mini ever, with a new design and AI-powered features.
In a revolutionary move that redefines the concept of a desktop computer, Apple is preparing to launch an entirely new generation of its famous Mac Mini, which will be the smallest and most powerful ever, according to a report published by Bloomberg on Thursday.
This release comes as part of Apple’s strategy to update the Mac series with advanced digital processors supported by artificial intelligence technologies.
Bloomberg reported that the new Mac mini will represent the first major design change to the device since its revamp under Steve Jobs in 2010.
The device is expected to be much smaller than previous versions, approaching the size of the Apple TV, according to sources familiar with the company’s plans.
New Macs Coming with M4 Processors
In addition to the Mac mini, Apple is preparing to launch a series of new Mac devices in the coming months.
This lineup is expected to include updated iMac and MacBook Pro models, all of which will be powered by M4 silicon processors. These devices are scheduled to be unveiled early this year.
Unifying the next generation of processors
For the first time, Apple will put the same generation of M4 processors in all of its Macs, including the MacBook Air that is being developed for release next spring, as well as the Mac Pro and Mac Studio models that will be released in the middle of next year.
The M4 processor, which has already appeared in the iPad Pro, will enable the operation of new artificial intelligence features that Apple plans to launch soon.
Despite the reports, an Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the company’s plans for new devices when asked by Bloomberg.
