The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Saudi National Bank approved authorizing the Board of Directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi- or quarterly basis for the fiscal year 2024.

The Extraordinary General Assembly approved For the National Bank of Saudi Arabia On the Board of Directors’ recommendation to distribute cash dividends to shareholders amounting to 5.4 billion riyals for a number of shares amounting to 6 billion shares, for the second half of last year.

The National Bank of Saudi Arabia stated, Disclosure on the “Saudi Tadawul” website Today, the share of the distribution amounted to 0.90 riyals after deducting zakat, representing 9% of the nominal value of the share, with the bank starting to distribute dividends as of May 14 of the current year.

The eligibility date will be for shareholders who own shares at the end of trading on the day of the bank’s general assembly (which will be announced later) and who are registered in the bank’s shareholder register with the Securities Depository Center Company at the end of the second trading day following the entitlement date.

The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Saudi National Bank also approved authorizing the Board of Directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi- or quarterly basis for the fiscal year 2024.

The profits of the National Saudi Bank, which is the largest bank listed in the Saudi market in terms of assets, rose 0.3 percent to 5.04 billion riyals (about 1.34 billion dollars) in the first quarter of this year, compared to profits of 5.02 billion riyals that it had recorded in the first quarter of this year. The same quarter of the previous year.
