Sharjah: New gas deposit discovered in UAE. The Sharjah Petroleum Council announced that a large deposit was discovered in the Al Hadiba field in Sharjah.
According to a report published on social media, Sharjah National Oil Corporation’s exploration to the north of the Al Sajah field has found gas deposits of sufficient volume for commercial production.

The UAE’s official news agency said that a detailed inspection of the gas deposit well will be conducted to determine the amount and other details that may be available from there. Al Hadiba is Sharjah’s fifth onshore field. Apart from this, there are onshore fields of Al Sajah, Kahif, Mahani and Muayyad.
