Sharjah: A newborn baby was found abandoned in Sharjah, UAE. The newborn was found abandoned in the women’s prayer room at the Al Majaz 1 mosque in Sharjah.
The baby was found by the church’s security guard. While going for prayers, the security guard heard the baby crying and later found the baby. This was immediately reported to the Sharjah Police. Then a police patrol car and an ambulance reached the spot.

The baby was admitted to Al Qasimi Hospital. Sharjah Police has launched an investigation to find the child’s mother. The one-day-old baby is in the hospital’s ICU. Police informed that the baby is being given necessary treatment and care at the hospital and vaccinations and medical check up will be completed before handing over to the Child Protection Committee.
