RIYADH: The National Meteorological Center has announced that this year’s summer in Saudi Arabia will begin on June 1. The weather center also warned that the temperature will rise in the eastern and central regions.

National Meteorological Center spokesman Hussain Al Qahtani said initial indicators point to extremely hot conditions this summer. As spring ended last week, temperatures began to rise in various parts of Saudi Arabia. Various parts of Saudi Arabia have been experiencing weather changes including rain and sandstorms for the past few days.
