Riyadh: The Ministry of Education said that online classes will be available for educational institutions in Riyadh province until Wednesday. The recommendation is due to the possibility of rain till May 8.

The Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning for heavy rains and thunderstorms till Wednesday. The Civil Defense said adverse weather conditions will also be experienced in Qasim, Baha, Northern Borders, Jawf, Jazan, Asir, Makkah, Madinah and Riyadh regions. Some areas received 94.4 mm of rain last night. 17.5 mm of rain fell in Buraida, Al Qasim.
