Pakistan’s ruling party said on Sunday that the country would not recognize ‘Israel’. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Prime Minister Imran Khan gave this information on Twitter
Imran Khan tweeted, “Pakistan will not recognize Israel until we reach a fair compromise according to the wishes of the people of Palestine and the UN resolutions.”
The statement said that Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Pakistan’s long-time allies, are pressuring Islamabad to recognize the Israeli.

In a separate tweet, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chowdhury said: “On the day of solidarity with the Palestinian people, Pakistan reiterated its steadfast support for the self-determination of the Palestinian people.”
He said that for a just and lasting peace, a two-state solution is mandatory based on the proposals of the United Nations and Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
“A viable, free and embodied state as the borders before 1967 and the capital of al-Quds al-Sharif,” Chowdhury said. “Let’s say that November 29 is celebrated as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people since 1978.
