Re-opening of business and economic activities does not mean that the pandemic has ended – warns government.
A top official said, “Coronavirus cases in the UAE are increasing because of the parties and get-togethers hosted by families and friends.
During a virtual press briefing, he said “We should all avoid social gatherings for coming few months. Peopl should avoid visiting crowded places for their own safety,” said Dr Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, official from the UAE Government, on Wednesday.
This came after the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed 883 new cases of covid-19 infections in the country, taking the total count of active patients to 31,969.
