Customs have caught a new method of smuggling at the airport. A passenger from Dubai had put 46 gold screws in his bag. All the punches were of gold whose total value is nine lakh 54 thousand rupees. Authorities have seized the recovered gold under the provisions of customs. Further investigations and inquiries continued till the news was written.

This success has come to the team of Deputy Commissioner Niharika Lakha. He said that customs officials were suspicious after seeing the gestures of the passenger who landed from Dubai flight number FZ 8325 on Sunday. The passenger looked quite nervous. He wanted to get out of the airport as quickly as possible.

Checking team members Superintendent Suman Devi, AP Singh, Inspector KCM Tripathi Gaurav Singh and Kapoor Singh surrounded the passenger. When his luggage was checked, gold screws started appearing black in the scanner, which cemented suspicion. When he was questioned and taken away from other passengers, he revealed the truth. The gold screw was fitted by the passenger in a black trolley bag. A total of 180.500 grams of gold was recovered from the passenger.
