Riyadh Air and Singapore Airlines sign a strategic partnership

This partnership is an important step in strengthening cooperation between Riyadh Air and Singapore Airlines, and will contribute to providing wider travel options for travelers and enhancing commercial and tourism ties between the two countries.

Riyadh Airlines and Singapore Airlines signed a strategic partnership memorandum on the sidelines of the annual general assembly meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Dubai.

This partnership aims to enhance cooperation in the areas of air connectivity, expand the network of carriers’ destinations, and improve customer experience.

Under this agreement, after obtaining the necessary approvals, the two air carriers will discuss a range of commercial aspects, including the code partnership, mutual benefits for loyalty programs, air cargo services, customer experiences, and digital innovations.

Riyadh Air will be able to access the network of destinations and customers of Singapore Airlines in the Southeast Asia and Southwest Pacific regions. The partnership will also enhance the ability of customers to find more options from the network of routes available for the Middle East region through the network of destinations that Riyadh Air will cover when it launches its commercial operations. Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, said that this partnership provides more benefits to Riyadh Air customers by expanding the network of destinations it covers in partnership with the best airline in the world.

He added that Riyadh Airways will work in the future to strengthen its network of destinations in the regions of Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand through Singapore Changi Airport.

For his part, Gu Chun, CEO of Singapore Airlines, said that this strategic partnership will bring great benefits to both sides. Believing that it will enable the two carriers to provide more travel options to their customers, enhance the growth of the tourism sector in both countries, and develop common trade ties between them.
