Samsung introduced a range of AI features including live translation and “tap to search” for its TVs at CES.CES 2025.
All of this falls under Samsung Vision AI, which will be part of its flagship models such as the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED models, and The Frame, according to a company blog post.
Samsung.. Live Translate feature
At CES 2025, the company announced that it would bring the Live Translate feature from the company’s phones and tablets to its TVs.
Live Translate provides users with instant translation, and Samsung revealed that the feature will work in seven different languages, according to the website.“ tech crunch ”Technical.
The live translation service was introduced in early 2024 as part of the Galaxy S24 launch. It currently works in 13 different languages on the phone’s interface, which is almost double what will be launched on the TV version.
Feature focused on the visually impaired community
The company is also adding AI-based voice removal with voice translation, a feature it says is focused on the visually impaired community.
According to Samsung, the new feature “will analyze translation, isolate voices, and adjust reading speed for a smooth experience.”
Both of these features are being introduced for the 2025 TV lineup, and there’s no word yet on whether Samsung will offer any backward compatibility for older devices.
