Saudi Airlines allocated 1.2 million seats to transport pilgrims during the Hajj season 1445 AH, through an operational plan that includes 5 domestic airports and 11,000 employees.
Today, Thursday, the Saudi Airlines Group announced its operational plan for the Hajj season 1445 AH, as it allocated 1.2 million seats to serve the pilgrims from around the world.
This plan comes within the group’s intensive preparations to provide the best services to pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj season, in cooperation with various relevant government agencies.

Operational plan details:
- Number of seats: 1.2 million seats.
- Operational period: 74 days, starting on the 1st of Dhul-Qi’dah 1445 AH, corresponding to May 9.
- Number of airports: 5 domestic airports (Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh, Dammam, and Yanbu).
- Number of employees: More than 11,000 front-line employees and aircraft maintenance technicians.
Hajj Initiatives:
- Mecca Road: Serving 120,000 pilgrims.
- Hajj without luggage: handling 270,000 bags and 240,000 Zamzam packages.
