The Ministry explained, through its official account on the “X” platform, that this step comes within the Kingdom’s efforts to provide a distinctive tourism experience and enhance welcoming to the world, as the list of countries eligible to obtain a visa has been updated by adding the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Barbados, and Grenada.

According to the announced details, the visa granted to citizens of these countries will be valid for one year, and will be granted for several trips, with the possibility of staying for up to three months during the year.

The electronic visa can be obtained immediately from the digital Saudi embassy on the unified national visa platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry explained that holders of the nationality of these countries can apply for a visit visa upon arrival at one of the Kingdom’s ports, and that the visa entitles tourism, Umrah, business, and visiting relatives and friends, while emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the specified period of stay and avoiding delay in departure after the expiration of the visa. To avoid penalties.

The Ministry also stressed that the visit visa does not entitle its holder to work for pay, or perform Umrah rituals during the Hajj season, calling for compliance with the laws and instructions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
