The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that it will bear the cost of live livestock shipments during this year’s Hajj season, which includes customs duties and taxes.

The Council determined the time period for the state to bear these costs, which ends with the end of the Hajj season. It also reassured the Saudi King of the completion of the necessary preparations and arrangements for this year’s Hajj season, and the efforts made by the various state agencies to provide all means of comfort and reassurance to the pilgrims.

In addition, the Council agreed to amend the system for monitoring financing companies. The Council also issued 14 decisions, some of which were proposed, discussed, and approved within mechanisms designated for that. The most prominent of these decisions is the approval of the establishment of a number of cultural and artistic bodies, such as the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, and the Authority. Museums, Heritage Authority, Film Authority, Libraries Authority, Architecture and Design Arts Authority, Music Authority, Theater and Performing Arts Authority, Visual Arts Authority, Culinary Arts Authority, and Fashion Authority.
