Riyadh: The Saudi National Weather Center has released a new weather forecast for this week. Rain is expected in most parts of the country this week. A few days ago, it rained heavily in Saudi Arabia. After this, the chance of rain again has been predicted.
The Meteorological Center said there is a possibility of thundery rain and wind and dust will rise. Chance of rain is forecast from Saturday to next Friday. Jizan, southwestern Saudi Arabia’s Albaha, Riyadh and the Eastern Province are likely to receive moderate to heavy rain and may continue till Friday, the center said.

Flooding of valleys, hailstorms and rough seas are possible after the rains. Following the weather forecast, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning. People are advised to be cautious in going to waterlogged areas and valleys.
At the same time, a few days ago, there was widespread waterlogging and damage due to the heavy rains that fell in Saudi Arabia. Due to heavy rains in Makkah and Madinah, waterlogging was severe in many places. Wadi Hura in Makkah region received the most rain. Wadi Fatima also had a torrent of mountain water. There was heavy rain in Taif as well. Heavy rain fell in Al Eez governorate in Madinah region. Due to this, the valleys and other areas were filled with rainwater. Vehicles were submerged in water and damage was done.
