Riyadh: Punishment for those who violate Hajj regulations has started. From June 2 to Thursday, June 20, fines will be applied to those caught without a Hajj permit. Those caught without a Hajj permit at Makkah, Haram precincts, holy places, Haramain railway station in Ruzaifa, security checkpoints and sorting centers will face punitive measures.
Any citizen, resident or visitor caught here will be fined 10,000 Riyals. Violators will be deported if they are residents and barred from entering Saudi Arabia for legally specified periods. The public safety department also said that the financial penalty will be doubled in case of repeated violations.

The public safety department said that everyone should follow the regulations and instructions of Hajj so that the pilgrims can perform their duties with comfort and peace. The Public Security Department has already stated that those who violate the Hajj rules and instructions and those who do not have a permit and try to smuggle them to Makkah will face imprisonment of up to six months and a fine of up to 50,000 Riyals. According to the court ruling, their vehicles will be confiscated and if they are foreigners, they will be prevented from entering Saudi Arabia for a specified period.
