RIYADH: Those without Hajj permits will not be allowed to enter the ‘meeqaat’ (bathing centers outside the city of Makkah in the four directions to make preparations for Hajj, including dressing (Ihram)) and field plans have been prepared to check residences in Makkah to arrest and remove those who violate Hajj rules, Saudi Chief of Public Security Director Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al Bassami informed.
He said this while launching the Hajj campaign under the title ‘No Hajj without permission’. Hajj security forces are ready for this year’s Hajj season operations. The force is ready to deal with anything that interferes with security or procedure and prevent all activities affecting the safety of pilgrims. The public safety chief said violators would be arrested and fines would be applied against them.

The security chief also pointed out that concerted efforts are of great importance in completing all field arrangements, implementing projects and raising standards. From 15th of Shawwal, security personnel have started their duties to control the entrances to Makkah. The security chief said that there will be full attention on the violators.
