The Ministry explained that the status of “institutions” records can be corrected through the electronic services available at the Saudi Business Center, while company owners can correct their status through the services of the Ministry of Commerce.

The Ministry warned that the owner is responsible for all consequences and dues as a result of the deletion resulting automatically 30 days after the official notification.

Article Seven of the Commercial Registry System stipulates the following: “The merchant, his heir, or the liquidator – as the case may be – must submit to the Commercial Registry Office a request to cancel the registration in the following cases: the merchant permanently abandons his business, the death of the merchant, or the completion of the liquidation of the company.”

The application must be submitted within ninety days from the date of the incident that necessitated the cancellation of the registration. If the concerned parties do not submit a request for cancellation, the Commercial Registry Office, after verifying the incident and after notifying the concerned parties by registered letter, will delete the registration on its own after thirty days from the date of notification, unless it receives During this period, the office of the concerned party denied this incident. In the event that a final ruling or decision is issued to delete the record in application of the applicable regulations.
