The two discussed the situation and developments in Gaza and Rafah city, the importance of an immediate ceasefire and making every effort to ensure immediate humanitarian assistance.

The meeting was held as part of a joint meeting between the foreign ministers of the Gulf Corporation Council countries and the United States. The meeting held at the GCC Council General Secretariat headquarters reviewed ways to improve bilateral relations and joint cooperation in various fields.

Amira Reema Bint Bandar Bin Sultan, Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan and Senior Adviser to Foreign Minister Mohammad Alyahya attended the meeting.
